Attachment A
(Recy
clin
Inc.
875 N. Prior Avenue St. Paul, MN 55104
(612) 644 -6577
January 19,1994
City Of Falcon Heights
Attn: Susan'Hovt
Dear Susan,
Per our recent conversation E -Z recycling is requesting a rate
increase. The increase of fuel, additional taxes such as the
increase in state un- employment and the overall decline in markets
for cans and glass are the reasons for the request.
Our proposal is as follows:
Pick up the 1st 3rd 5th Friday of each month
Residential Rate $1.55
Apartments $567 weekly service
Pick up the 1st 3rd Friday of each month.
Residential Rate $1.48
Apartments $567 weekly service
The residential rate can be reduced by $.13 per household by
abolishing the $175.00 per month marketing fee paid to the city.
As more material becomes marketable we will expand collection
efforts in Falcon Heights. Materials could be junk mail, aerosol
cans,textiles.
E -Z Recycling is interested in a long term contract with a yearly
increase based on the CPI or about 3% per year We respectfully
thank the city for the opportunity to provide curbside recycling
service over the last year
ince ely;
Chris Reinhardt
C.E.O
CR /bg
An AA/EO Employer Printed on Recycled Paper with Soy Ink
