These improvements, if assessed, will be constructed during the
spring and summer of 1994 as part of the overall remodeling of the Falcon Heights
Elementary School.
If the council chooses to specially assess these improvements to the school district,
the city would only be involved in the financial aspects of the project. The school
district will contract and oversee the construction. The city would review plans and
carry out inspections on a routine basis as it does for all building projects in the city.
If the council wishes to proceed with the special assessment, the staff recommends
adopting an agreement that guarantees that the city would not incur any costs or lose
revenue on this special assessment.
A Resolution petitioning the City of Falcon Heights for improvements financed
through a special assessment on 1393 Garden Avenue submitted by the
Roseville Independent School District Number 623
ACTION REQUESTED:
Presentation of the resolution from the Roseville Independent School District 623
petitioning the city for a special assessment for certain improvements at Falcon
Heights Elementary School.
fl
