No. <br /> CITY OF FALCON HEIGHTS <br /> C O U N C I L R E S O L U T I O N <br /> Date: Feb. 9, 1994 <br /> A RESOLUTION IN SUPPORT OF THE APPLICATION FOR A COMMUNITY <br /> DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT (CDBG) BY NORTHWEST YOUTH AND <br /> FAMILY SERVICES (NYFS) <br /> WHEREAS, NYFS has provided essential developmental services for the <br /> youth and families of Falcon Heights since 1976; and <br /> WHEREAS, NYFS is finding more and more people in need of financial <br /> assistance in order to make use of NYFS' mental health programs, and <br /> WHEREAS, the unique partnership between NYFS and its ten Ramsey <br /> County member cities has resulted in the ability to provide an essential <br /> community service that none of the cities could provide individually, and <br /> WHEREAS, NYFS is in need of assistance in purchasing a building in <br /> which to house these essential community services, <br /> NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of <br /> Falcon Heights, that the City of Falcon Heights enthusiastically supports the <br /> award of a 1994 CDBG to NYFS. <br /> Moved by Approved by <br /> Mayor <br /> BALDWIN Feb. 9, 1994 <br /> GEHRZ In Favor Date <br /> GIBSON TALBOT Attested by <br /> HUSTAD Against City Clerk <br /> JACOBS Feb. 9, 1994 <br /> Date <br />
