Meeting Date: 2/9/94 <br /> Agenda Item: P 6 <br /> CITY OF FALCON HEIGHTS <br /> REQUEST FOR COUNCIL CONSIDERATION <br /> ITEM DESCRIPTION: Proposed resolution changing the fee schedule for rental of <br /> the Community Park building in chapter 5 4.01 (D)(2) <br /> relating to fees for the Community Park building <br /> SUBMITTED BY: Park and Recreation Commission <br /> REVIEWED BY: Carol Kriegler, Park and Recreation Director <br /> EXPLANATION /SUMMARY: <br /> At the January 13, 1994 council meeting, Carol Kriegler explained that the Park and <br /> Recreation Commission recommends that the city's Community Park building's rental <br /> fees and hours be revised to better accommodate the building users and to make sure <br /> that the facilities can be checked and cleaned, if necessary, before new users rent the <br /> space. <br /> The proposed change in policy permits the Community Park building to be rented for <br /> one 6 hour shift or a portion of a shift. It eliminates a second shift. It permits a user <br /> to pay $5.00 per hour for any use over the basic six hour shift (Attachment A). <br /> ATTACHMENTS: <br /> A Proposed change in fee schedule for the Community Park Building <br /> B Proposed resolution adopting the change in fee schedule and hours <br /> ACTION REQUESTED: <br /> Adopt the attached resolution changing the rental structure for the Community Park <br /> building in Chapter 5 4.01 (D) (2) of the city code. <br />
