ON CONS .EN`I" CONSENT CONSENT ON.SEN O S NT <br /> Meeting Date: 3/9/94 <br /> Agenda Item: C -5 <br /> CITY OF FALCON HEIGHTS <br /> REQUEST FOR COUNCIL CONSIDERATION <br /> ITEM DESCRIPTION: Roseville Area High School request for use of Community Park <br /> Tennis Courts date change <br /> SUBMITTED BY: Carol Kriegler, Park Recreation Director <br /> REVIEWED BY: Susan Hoyt, City Administrator <br /> EXPLANATION /SUMMARY: At the February 23, 1994 council meeting, approval was <br /> given for the Roseville Area High School to use Community Park tennis courts during <br /> the following times: <br /> Girls Term: April 1 to June 1, 1994 <br /> 2:15 4:30 p.m. for practice <br /> (until 5:30 p.m. on meet days) <br /> Boys Team: Sept. 6 to mid October, 1994 <br /> 2:15 4:30 for practice <br /> (until 5:30 p.m. on meet days) <br /> The most recent construction schedules now project the need for the alternate tennis <br /> courts starting in the fall of '94 and continuing into the spring of '95. The request, <br /> then, is being changed to the following: <br /> Boys Team: Sept. 6 mid October, 1994 <br /> 2:15 4:30 p.m. for practice <br /> (until 5:30 p.m. on meet days) <br /> Girls Team: April 1 to June 1, 1995 <br /> 2:15 4:30 p.m. for p ractice <br /> (until 5:30 p.m. on meet days) <br /> In regard to the possibility of tennis team involvement in potential city -based summer <br /> tennis programs, (i.e., youth leagues or tournament lessons, clinics), Hans Peterson <br /> has indicated a sincere interest and willingness for cooperation and participation. <br /> ACTION REQUESTED: Approval for Roseville Area High School to use Community <br /> Park tennis courts for team use during the following times: <br /> Boys team: Sept. 6 to mid October, 1994 <br /> 2:15 4:30 p.m. for practice (until 5:30 on meet days) <br /> Girls team: April 1 to June 1, 1995 <br /> 2:15 4:30 p.m. for practice (until 5:30 on meet days) <br /> T !t)NSENT <br />
