p� <br /> EMS WEEK 94 <br /> MAY I5-21 <br /> PURPOSE: <br /> Celebrate 1994 National Emergency Services Week <br /> Expose the communities we serve to the kind of work we do <br /> in a non threatening environment <br /> Provide educational activities for all ages on injury <br /> prevention and care <br /> Educate people in the existence and use of the 911 system <br /> Provide medical evaluations at minimal or no cost <br /> Create a more effective outreach program by our department <br /> Present other available resources in and around our <br /> community <br /> OUR DEPARTMENT EQUIPMENT <br /> display 756 and it's equipment <br /> have listings of medical equipment in each fire truck <br /> demonstration of patient extrication using the "jaws" <br /> have pre scheduled classes at minimal cost <br /> 2 4 hr. first aid 15 people max. <br /> 1 4 hr. infant child CPR 10 people max. <br /> 2 4 hr. adult CPR 10 people max. <br /> at the beginning of each class have a 5 10 minute presentation on <br /> how the local EMS system works <br />
