Also present were Bachman, Hoyt and <br /> Phillips. <br /> MINUTES OF 3/9/94 APPROVED <br /> CONSENT AGENDA APPROVED <br /> Council approved the following Consent Agenda by unanimous consent: <br /> 1. Disbursements <br /> a. General disbursements through 3/15/94, $97,792.40 <br /> b. Payroll, 3/1/94 to 3/15/94, $11,144.17 <br /> 2. Request for purchase of two SCBA gear and fire clothing for <br /> replacement of old equipment <br /> 3. Accept resignation of Ed Sheppard from Human Rights Commission <br /> 4. Appointment of Mary Pat McGinnis to Solid Waste Commission <br /> REQUEST TO HIRE AN ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT /PLANNER <br /> Hoyt introduced Carla Asleson who accepted the new position of administrative <br /> assistant /planner with the city. Her starting date will be April 18. <br /> HUSTAD ARRIVES <br /> Hustad arrived at 7:12 p.m. <br /> REQUEST FOR APPROVAL OF A CITYWIDE FOOD DRIVE <br /> Resident Ben Lamb is preparing for an Eagle Scout project in the city. He requested <br /> the city permit him to carry out a citywide food drive as his Eagle Scout project. <br /> He also requested the city donate $100 towards the printing of flyers to be distributed <br /> to all residents. It was suggested the flyers be distributed with the city newsletter <br /> which will be out in early April. After some discussion, Baldwin indicated he will <br /> present Lamb with the option of having the city staff make copies of the flyers for <br /> distribution or perhaps Lamb could approach several businesses for a donation. <br />
