No. <br /> CITY OF FALCON HEIGHTS <br /> C O U N C I L R E S O L U T I O N <br /> Date: 06/22/94 <br /> A RESOLUTION CHANGING THE PRECINT POLLING PLACE FOR PRECINT NO. 2 <br /> OF THE CITY OF FALCON HEIGHTS <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council has the power pursuant to Minnesota <br /> Statues Chapter 204B.16 to designate the polling place for each <br /> precint within a municipality; and <br /> WHEREAS, the polling place for Precint No. 2 has been <br /> deisignated at 1795 Holton Street (Falcon Heights United Church of <br /> Christ) in the City of Falcon Heights; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council wishes to change the Precint No. 2 <br /> polling place to a school, for reasons including the desire for the <br /> city's school children to witness the electoral process. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the <br /> City of Falcon Heights hereby changes the polling place for Precint <br /> No. 2 to 1393 Garden Avenue (Falcon Heights Elementary School); and <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this polling place change will be <br /> effective January 1, 1995. <br /> Approved by <br /> Mayor <br /> BALDWIN <br /> GEHRZ In Favor Date <br /> HUSTAD <br /> JACOBS Against Attested by <br /> TALBOT City Clerk <br /> Date <br />
