No. 0-94 <br /> CITY OF FALCON HEIGHTS <br /> O R D I N A N C E <br /> Date June 22, 1994 <br /> AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CERTAIN SECTIONS OF CHAPTER 5 <br /> OF THE CITY CODE RELATING TO TOBACCO PRODUCTS <br /> D. Tobacco Related Products <br /> 1. License Required. No person shall keep for <br /> retail sale, sell at retail or otherwise dispose <br /> of any tobacco product as defined in this <br /> ordinance at any place in the city without a <br /> license. Application for a license should be <br /> made to the city clerk on a form supplied by the <br /> city. Upon filing of the application and payment <br /> of the required fee as stipulated in Section 5- <br /> 5.01 of this code, the application shall be <br /> presented to the city council for consideration. <br /> 2. Definitions. <br /> a. "Tobacco related product" means <br /> cigarettes, cigars, cheroots, stogies, <br /> perique, granulated, plug cut, crimp cut, <br /> ready, rubbed and other smoking tobacco; <br /> snuff, snuff flower, cavendish, plug and <br /> twist tobacco, fine cut and other chewing <br /> tobaccos; shorts, refuse scrips, clippings, <br /> cuttings, and sweepings of tobacco prepared <br /> in such manner as to be suitable for <br /> chewing, sniffing or smoking in a pipe, <br /> rolling paper or other tobacco related <br /> devices. <br /> b. "Self service merchandising" means open <br /> display of tobacco products that the public <br /> has access to without the intervention of an <br /> employee. <br /> c. "Individually packaged" means any <br /> package containing only one individually <br /> wrapped item. Included are single packs of <br /> cigarettes, single bags of tobacco for <br /> rolling, individual cans of tobacco for <br /> chewing or sniffing.
