Saw purchase (to facilitate sign frame replacement) $300 -400
Game Time horizontal ladder station $675
Game Time sit -up stations $350
New sign faces for two new stations $100
Pathway Rehabilitation
While the entire pathway is in need of rehabilitation, we suggest that two different
methods of repair be employed in two different areas of the trail. Complete rebuilding of
the trail appears to be necessary for 1,300 linear feet on the east and southeast areas of the
park. These trail areas currently consist of just a remnant of the original trail as it is only
about a foot in width in most areas. Rebuilding in these areas will consist of excavating
the trail area to a depth of 4 inches and 6 feet wide, application of a preemergant
herbicide, application of crushed limestone and ag -lime, and grading and compaction of
the site. Repair of the remaining trail is considered possible without excavating and
removals of the existing materials. These areas would be treated with a herbicide,
augmented with a top dressing of additional ag -lime, graded and compacted. Pete feels
that these areas in need of lesser work can be accomplished effectively in -house with the
public works staff Although the work will require equipment that the City does not have,
indications are that the City of Roseville is willing to make their equipment available to
us for this project.
The following expenditures are recommended in an effort to rehabilitate the pathway:
Contracting with for the rebuilding of 1,200 linear feet of pathway
at a cost of (see attached bids).
The purchase of herbicide, crushed limestone, and ag -lime for the public works star
to repair 1,600 linear feet of trail. Required material quanities are estimated to cost
