~~ <br />MINUTES <br />REGULAR CITY COUNCIL MEETING <br />SEPTEMBER 24, 1980 <br />A regular meeting of the Falcon Heights City Council was called to order <br />by Mayor Warkentien at 7:30 p.m. <br />Mayor Warkentien, Councilmembers Steele, Brown, Eggert and Larson. Also <br />present were Clerk Administrator Barnes and Attorney Kenefick. <br />None. <br />Harold Nilsen, 1794 Tatum, Arden Ostergaard, 1811 Tatum, and Ms. Jenny <br />Juzwik, were in attendance to request that Council reimburse Ms. Juzwik <br />for the towing and storage of her van which had been parked on Tatum <br />Street during the State Fair. Councilmembers Steele and Larson objected <br />to paying the extra storage charges incurred due to the fact that Ms. <br />Juzwik was unable to pick up her van the day of the towing. After some <br />discussion Councilmember Eggert moved, seconded by Councilmember Brown <br />that Ms. Juzwik be reimbursed for $48.50 the amount of the towing and <br />storage. Upon a vote being taken the following voted "aye": Mayor <br />Warkentien, Councilmembers Brown and Eggert. Councilmembers Steele and <br />Larson voted against the motion as they did not feel the City should pay <br />the additional 2 days storage. Motion carried. <br />Councilmember Larson moved, seconded by Councilmember Brown that the <br />Consent Agenda be approved as presented. Motion carried unanimously. <br />1. Liquor Store Financial Report, August, 1980 <br />Councilmember Eggert moved, seconded by Councilmember Larson that the <br />Minutes of September 10, 1980 be approved as presented. Upon a vote <br />being taken the following voted "aye": Councilmembers Steele, Brown, <br />Eggert and Larson and the following voted "nay": Mayor Warkentien. <br />Motion carried. <br />At 8:00 p.m. Mayor Warkentien called the Public Assessment Hearing on <br />Delinquent Sanitary Sewer Charges. Since there were no comments from <br />those in attendance Councilmember Larson moved, seconded by Council- <br />member Steele that Resolution 80-27 be adopted.
