CITY OF FALCON HEIGHTS <br />REGULAR CITY COUNCIL MEETING ~ ~ <br />MINUTES OF OCTOBER 28, 1998 <br />Mayor Gehrz convened the meeting at 7:02 p.m. <br />PRESENT <br />Gehrz, Hustad, Jacobs, and Kuettel. Also present was Hoyt and Asleson. <br />ABSENT <br />Gibson Talbot (arrived laterl <br />COMMUNITY FORUM <br />There was no one wishing to take advantage of the community forum. <br />MINUTES OF OCTOBER 14, 1998 <br />Minutes were approved by unanimous consent. <br />CONSENT AGENDA <br />• Councilmember Kuettel moved approval of the following consent agenda. The motion <br />passed unanimously. <br />1. Disbursements <br />2. Licenses <br />3. Cancellation of November 11, 1998 council meeting and scheduling a cit workshop <br />on November 4, 1998 <br />4. Location of a temporary school bus stop sign at 1413 W. California Avenue <br />5. Accept donation of a tree in honor of Fred Brown on behalf of the friends and <br />neighbors of the Ray and Concha Brown family <br />POLICY AGENDA <br />APPROVAL OF MINOR MODIFICATIONS TO THE STREETSCAPE PLAN <br />Administrator Hoyt outlined proposed minor modifications to the streetscape plan. <br />Following discussion by councilmembers, the following motions were made: <br />Councilmember Hustad moved approval of a reduction to the size of the community marker <br />at Hamline and Larpenteur, from the previously approved ten feet to eight feet two inches <br />plus the foundation. The motion passed unanimously. <br />• Councilmember Jacobs moved approval of up to 52500 for community sign lighting. The <br />motion passed unanimously. <br />Councilmember Kuettel moved approval of up to 51700 for color modifications to the <br />streetlights. The motion passed unanimously. <br />
