MINUTES <br />REGULAR CITY COUNCIL MEETING <br />MAY 25, 1988 <br />Ciernia called the meeting to order at 7:00 P.M. <br />PRESENT <br />Wallin, Bush, P. Chenoweth, and Ciernia. Also present were <br />Maurer, Wiessner, and S. Chenoweth. <br />ABSENT <br />Baldwin. <br />ADDENDUM TO AGENDA <br />Council approved addition of Item F(8), Resolution Approving <br />Plans and Specifications, and Authorizing Advertisement for Bids <br />for the St. Mary's Street Parking Project. <br />MINUTES OF MAY 11, 1988 APPROVED <br />Council approved the Minutes of May 11, 1988 as presented. <br />CONSENT AGENDA APPROVED <br />The following Consent Agenda was approved: <br />1. Fire/Ambulance Reports <br />2. Disbursements: <br />a. General Disbursements through 5/25/88, $62,219.39 <br />b. Sinking Fund, $10,712.50 <br />c. Payroll 5/1/88 - 5/15/88, $ 9,589.42 <br />d. Dahlgren, Shardlow & Uban through 4/29/88, $168.49 <br />e. Maier, Stewart & Assoc. through 4/33/88, $2,224,05' <br />3. Human Rights Commission Minutes of 4/21/88 <br />RESOLUTION ADOPTED APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS FOR ST. <br />MARY'S STREET PARKING PROJECT <br />Maurer presented the plans and specifications which Council <br />reviewed and suggested some modifications. Possible problems <br />with stockpiling of snow were discussed and Council directed <br />staff to discuss the matter with Ramsey County, Ciatti's and <br />Bucks Unpainted Furniture. Chenoweth then moved adoption of <br />Resolution R-88-10 which carried unanimously. <br />RESOLUTION R-88-10 <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS <br />FOR THE ST. MARY'S STREET PARKING PROJECT AND <br />AUTHORIZING ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS <br />ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING A SOLID WASTE COMMISSION ADOPTED <br />Council reviwed the proposed ordinance establishing a Solid <br />Waste Commission and made some amendments, after which Chenoweth <br />moved adoption of Ordinance 0-88-11. Motion carried <br />unanimously. <br />~~ <br />
