MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />May 28, 2008 <br />Blesener stated that the City will have some answers at the June 1 Th <br />meeting, but pointed out that these answers may not be what Waite and <br />Day want to hear. Blesener also noted that the City has very little control <br />over the water level issue. The Administrator also pointed out that water <br />quality treatment standards have dramatically increased over the last few <br />years. <br />CONSENT Mr. Keis inrioduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />AGENDA <br />RESOLUTIONNO. 2008-5-136 -APPROVING THE CONSENT <br />AGENDA WHICH CONTAINS THE FOLLOWING: <br />*APPROVING THE VOUCHERS; <br />*APPROVING THE RENEWAL OF 2008 LIQUOR AND TOBACCO <br />LICENSES AS RECOMMENDED BY THE CITY CLERK; <br />*APPROVING AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 807, <br />MOTOR VEHICLE REPAIR, AS WELL AS AN ORDINANCE <br />AMENDING THE CITY'S FEE SCHEDULE RELATIVE TO <br />VARIOUS AUTOMOBILE REPAIR LICENSE FEES; <br />*ACCEPTING EASEMENTS FOR SW TRUNK LINE <br />IMPROVEMENTS AND COBBLESTONE VILLAGE STORM SEWER <br />REPAIR AND AUTHORIZING THE CITYADMINISTRATOR TO <br />EXECUTE THESE EASEMENTS ON BEHALF OF THE CITY; <br />*APPROVING THE RAILROAD CROSSING AGREEMENT FOR <br />THE SW TR UNK LINE WATERMAIN INCL UDING PAYMENT OF <br />$1,450.00 TO THE RAILROAD AS RENTAL FOR THIS EASEMENT, <br />AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITYADMINISTRATOR <br />TO EXECUTE THE AGREEMENT ON BEHALF OF THE CITY; <br />*APPROVAL OF 2007 FUND TRANSFERS AS RECOMMENDED BY <br />THE FINANCE DIRECTOR; <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by McGraw. <br />Ayes (5). <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />CLOSED The City Attorney recommended that the Council convene into closed <br />SESSION session at the end of the Council meeting to discuss pending litigation with <br />the City of Vadnais Heights. <br />15 <br />
