G. License Fee, The application fee shall be determined by the City Council <br />from time to time by Resolution, and shall be paid at the time of <br />application. License fees, as set forth by City Council resolution, shall be <br />due prior to the license expiration date; in the cases of new, unlicensed <br />dwellings, license fees shall be due upon issuance of the certificate of <br />occupancy; in the case of initial licensing, license fees shall be due upon <br />application; in the case of licensing periods of less than one (1) year, <br />license fees may not be prorated. The City Council may provide an <br />exemption to the payment of all or a portion of license fees for Single <br />Family or Multi -Family Licensees that remain free of violations under <br />Section 3200,080 herein, <br />H. Tenant Register. As a condition of the license, the applicant must, as a <br />continuing obligation, maintain a current register of tenants and other <br />persons who have a lawful right to occupancy of Rental Dwellings or <br />Rental Dwelling Units, In its application, the applicant must designate the <br />name of the person or persons who will have possession of the register and <br />must promptly notify the City Administrator of any change in the identity, <br />address or telephone numbers of such person, The register must be <br />available for inspection by City officials at all times, <br />Crime Free/Drug Fee Lease Language. Every new tenant lease as entered <br />into as of the effective date of this ordinance and all leases renewed on or <br />after July 1, 2009, shall contain the following Crime Free/Drug Free and <br />Disorderly Use language or equivalent as approved by the City. <br />(1) Crime Free/Drug Free. <br />1, Resident, any members of the resident's household or a guest or <br />other person wider the resident's control shall not engage in criminal <br />activity, including drug-related criminal activity, on or near the <br />premises. "Criminal activity" means prostitution, criminal street <br />gang activity, threatening, intimidating or assaultive behavior, the <br />unlawful discharge of firearms, or any other criminal activity on or <br />near the premises that jeopardizes the health, safety and welfare of the <br />landlord, his agent, other resident, neighbor or other third party, or <br />involving imminent or actual serious property damage, "Drug related <br />criminal activity" means the illegal manufacture, sale, distribution, <br />use, or possession with intent to manufacture, sell, distribute, or use of <br />a controlled substance or any substance represented to be drugs (as <br />defined in Section 102 of the Controlled Substance Act [21 U.S.C. <br />802]). <br />2.
