MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING <br />PLANNING COMMISSION <br />LITTLE CANADA, MINNESOTA <br />SEPTEMBER 8, 2005 <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a regular meeting of the Planning <br />Commission oP Little Canada, Minnesota was held on the 8th day of <br />September, 2005 in the Council Chambers of the City Center located at <br />515 Little Canada Road in said City. <br />Chair Dan Knudsen called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. and the <br />following members of the Planning Commission were present at roll call: <br />PLANNING COMMISSION <br />Mr. Dan Knudsen <br />Mr. Scott Barraclough <br />Mr. Tom Duray <br />Mr. Jon Hall <br />Ms. Katie Socha <br />ABSENT: <br />ALSO PRESENT: <br />Mr. Gary Rheaurne <br />Mr. Tom Wojcik <br />Mr. SCeve Grittman, City Planner <br />Ms. KaChy Glanzer, City Clerk <br />MINUTES The August 11,2005 Planning Commission meeting minutes were <br />approved as submitted. <br />TEST Jim Rauscher, Joe's Sporting Goods, appeared before the Commission <br />AMENDMENT requesting a Text Amendment to the Zoning Code for the General <br />& CUP - Business District (B-3) to allow for the outdoor seasonal display of <br />33 EAST recreational equipment by Conditional Use Permit and a Conditional <br />COUNTY Use Permit allowing Joe's Chese displays at their property aC 33 East <br />ROAD B - County Road B. <br />JOE'S <br />SPORTING Rauscher explained that Joe's has had some outdoor displays of <br />GOODS trampoline tubes and kayaks on the outside of their building facing <br /> Highway 36. They have also had some limited outdoor display of hunting <br /> stands at the fronC of their building facing County Road B. Joe's would <br /> like to continue these outdoor displays as well as add the display of canoes <br /> and kayaks on stands on the County Road B side. Rauscher pointed out <br /> that the sale of these items are seasonal and would be rotated depending <br /> on the season. He also noted that these items are large; therefore, it is <br /> difficult to display Chem inside without taking up a great deal of floor <br /> space. Rauscher noted that they have basically three seasons, i.e., hunting, <br />
