Resolution declared adopted. <br />LITTLPI Blesener reported that there are currently four organizations operating <br />CANAllA at the Little Canada Bingo Hall. One of these organizations, Millennium <br />BINGO Charity Pfus will be closing soon and another, Little Canada Historical <br />HALL- Society, has will be closing within a few mont9ls. This leaves two <br />GAMBLING organizations at the Little Canada Bingo T-1a11 each of which operates <br />ISSUES one day of the week. There will be five days open at the bingo hall, and <br /> the question now is whether or not there are any Little Canada <br /> organizations interested in going into the bingo hall. Blesener reported <br /> that the organizations that come to mind are the Little Canada Recreation <br /> Association, the Little Canada Fire Department, and Little Canada <br /> Canadian Days. As of now, the Fire Department and Canadian Days have <br /> indicated they are not interested. Blesener also indicated that the Cwo <br /> charities thaC will be left at the hall are Lal<e Owasso Volunteer Council <br /> and North Suburban Youth Foundation. These groups have indicated they <br /> are willing to each take on one additional day, which would then leave <br /> three days available at the hall. Blesener pointed omit that another question <br /> for the Council is if`Che City would allow outside charitable organizations <br /> to operate at the bingo hall if there are no Little Canada charitable <br /> organizations interested in doing so. One additional question is whether or <br /> not the bingo hall is still viable noting the compliance issues that charities <br /> operating at the hall have.
