MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />APRIL 13, 2005 <br />Mr. LaValle introduced Che following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO.2005-4-81-APPROVING THE CITY'S <br />MEMBERSHIP IN THE RAMSEY COUNTY GIS USERS GROUP AS <br />RECOMMENDED BY THE CITY ADMINISTRATOR AND <br />AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITYADMINISTRATOR TO <br />EXECUTE THE JOINT POWERS AGREEMENT ON BEHALF OP <br />THE CITY <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Keis. <br />Ayes (4) LaValle, Keis, Montour, Blesener. <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />CABLE TV The Cable TV Producer presented a report dated April 7, 2005 <br />EQUIPMENT outlining cable equipment upgrades he is proposing. The Producer <br />PURCHASES summarized Che benefits that the new equipment will bring to the cable TV <br />operation, including easier remote production, upgraded backgrounds on <br />Che City's cable channel, and the ability to do editing in-house rather than <br />at CTV. It was noted that these costs would come from the City's Cable <br />TV Budget which is franchise fee money coming from the North <br />Suburban Cable Commission. <br />Mr. LaValle introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO.2005-4-82 -APPROVING THE PURCHASE OF <br />CABLE TV EQUIPMENT UPGRADES TO A MAXIMUM OF <br />$18,335.95 AS RECOMMENDED BY THE CABLE TV PRODUCER <br />WITH THE STIPULATION THAT THE PRODUCER CONTINUE TO <br />MAKE EFFORTS TO LOWER THE COST <br />The foregoing resolution duly seconded by Keis. <br />Ayes (4) LaValle, Keis, Allan, Blesener. <br />Nays (0).
