Resolution declared adopted. <br />COMMUNITY The City Administrator reported that the community survey proposal from <br />SURVEY Decision Resources will be presented at the August 24~" Council meeting. <br />ELECTION The City Administrator reported that the City of Falcon Heights has <br />SERVICES requested assistance in administering their 2005 Election due Co a <br />AGREEMENT recent staffing change. The Administrator presented a proposed Election <br />Services Agreement outlines the terms of this temporary arrangement. He <br />noted one modification regarding time and one-half charges when election <br />work exceeds eight hours in one day. <br />Mr. LaValle introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO.2005-8-780 -APPROVING THE ELECTION <br />SERVICES AGREEMENT WITH THE CITY OF FALCON HEIGHTS <br />AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITYADMINISTRATOR <br />TO EXECUTE ON BEHALF OP THE CITY <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Allan. <br />Ayes (3). <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />SUB-GRANT The City Administrator presented aSub-Grant Agreement between the <br />AGREEMENT City and Sherman Associates relative to the MN Department of <br />WITH Employment and Economic Development Grant that the City received <br />SHERMAN for contamination clean-up of the northeast corner of Rice Street and Little <br />ASSOCIATES Canada Road. The Administrator indicated that the Agreement is close to <br />proper form, however, some minor modifications are still necessary. He <br />further reported that Sherman Associates will do as much as legally <br />possible to fulfill the City's obligations under the grant. <br />
