MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />LITTLE CANADA, MINNESOTA <br />AUGUST 24, 2005 <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a regular meeting of the City <br />Council of Little Canada, Minnesota was convened on the 24th day of <br />August, 2005 in the Council Chambers of the City Center located at 515 <br />Little Canada Road in said City. <br />Mayor Bil] Blesener called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. and the <br />following members of Che City Council were present at roll call: <br />CITY COUNCIL: <br />Mayor <br />Council Member <br />Council Member <br />Council Member <br />Council Member <br />Mr. Bill Blesener <br />Mr. Jim LaValle <br />Mr. Rick Montour <br />Ms. Barbara Allan <br />Mr. John Keis <br />ALSO PRESENT: <br />City Administrator <br />City Attorney <br />City Planner <br />Parks & Rec Director <br />Public Works Supt. <br />Cable TV Producer <br />City Clerk <br />Mr. Joel R. Hanson <br />Mr. Thomas Sweeney <br />Mr. Steve Grittman <br />Mr. Jim Morelan <br />Mr. Bill Dircks <br />Mr. Brandon Rickert <br />Ms. Kathy Glanzer <br />MINUTES Mr. LaValle introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2005-8-183 -APPROVING THE MINUTES OI' <br />THE AUGUST 3, 2005 SPECIAL MEETING AND THE AUGUST I0, <br />2005 REGULAR COUNCIL MEETING <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Montour. <br />Ayes (5). <br />Nays (0). Resolution adopted. <br />LITTLE Jean Donovan, President of the Little Canada Historical Society, appeared <br />CANADA before the Council to present the City with a check paying in full the <br />HISTORICAL City's loan to Che Historical Society for its building addition to the City <br />SOCIETY Center. Donovan introduced the Board of the Historical Society and <br />acknowledged their dedicated efforts in charitable gambling to raise the <br />funds necessary to repay the loan. Donovan thanked the former Mayor <br />and City Council for their faith in the Historical Society in making this <br />loan fro the building addition. She also thanked the present Mayor and <br />City Council and entire City staff for its support. Finally, Donovan <br />
