MINUTES
CITY COUNCIL
OCTOBER 12, 2005
responses. It was noted that the Building Official was asked for his input
on contractors.
Blesener introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 2005-IO-243 -AWARDING THE QUOTE OF
SELA ROOFING FOR ROOF REPLACEMENT OF THE ENTIRE
CITY CENTER BUILDING AT A COST OF $16,524
The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Allan.
Ayes (5).
Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted.
DRAINAGE Mr. Thomas Hall, 182 Burke Lane, appeared before the Council and
PROBLEM- expressed concern about run off from the Hidden Acres development.
HIDDEN Hall reported that during recent rains, there is erosion coming from
ACRES the undeveloped lots in the Hidden Acres development onto the streets and
settling in front of his home on Burke Lane. There is silt fence installed on
these lots, however, the recent heavy rains may have washed out the
installation.
Hall suggested that sodding these two lots three to four feet in from the
curb may held the erosion problem. The Administrator asked if Hall was
concerned about iun-off flow or sediment. Hall replied that he was
concerned about both, as both end up in fiā¢ont of his property.
The Administrator indicated that the final lift on Concetta Way would get
run-off into the catch basins quicker. He reported that he has discussed
the issues with the developer who indicated thaC he may be willing to put
the final lift on Concetta Way yet this year and the final lift on Nadeau
Road next year. The Administrator reported that he also discussed the
