MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />OCTOBER 26, 2005 <br />Ms. Allan introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2005-10-25I -APPROVING THE <br />COMPREHENSIVE SIGN PLAN FOR AE SIGN SYSTEMS THAT <br />INCLUDES A PYLON SIGN WITH ELECTRONIC READER BOARD <br />WITH A MESSAGE THAT CAN CHANGE ONCE EVERY 24 HOURS <br />CONSISTENT WITH THE CITY'S CURRENT CODE <br />REQUIREMENTS <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by LaValle. <br />Ayes (3) Allan, LaValle, Blesener. <br />Nays (2) Montour, Keis. <br />Blesener instructed the City Planner to do a more in-depth study and come <br />back with a recommendation. The Planner indicated that the 3 second <br />timeframe is common, but agreed there may be a wider variety of options. <br />REZONING Mayor Blesener opened the Public Hearing to consider the rezoning of <br />OF GERVAIS Gervais Mill Park and Nadeau Park from Single-Family Residential (R-1) <br />MILL PARK to Public (P). He noted that the Parks & Recreation Commission and <br />AND NADEAU the Planning Commission have recommended approval of the rezonings <br />PARK as proposed, and that these rezonings reflect that actual use of these <br /> properties as City parks. <br /> Blesener further noted that there are two lots that were inadvertently <br /> omitted from the rezoning of Nadeau Park. These two lots will be <br /> considered in the November meeting cycle. <br />There was no one present from the general public wishing to comment on <br />this matter. <br />Upon motion by Montour, seconded by LaValle, the public hearing was <br />closed. <br />Mr. Montour introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2005-IO-252 -APPROVING THE REZONING OF <br />GERVAIS MILL PARK AND NADEAU PARK FROM SINGLE- <br />FAMILYRESIDENTIAL (R-I) TO PUBLIC (P) AS RECOMMENDED <br />BY THE PARKS & RECREATION COMMISSION AND THE <br />PLANNING COMMISSION <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by LaValle. <br />Ayes (5). <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />
