MINUTES CITY COUNCIL OCTOBER 26, 2005 Ms. Allan introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 2005-10-25I -APPROVING THE COMPREHENSIVE SIGN PLAN FOR AE SIGN SYSTEMS THAT INCLUDES A PYLON SIGN WITH ELECTRONIC READER BOARD WITH A MESSAGE THAT CAN CHANGE ONCE EVERY 24 HOURS CONSISTENT WITH THE CITY'S CURRENT CODE REQUIREMENTS The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by LaValle. Ayes (3) Allan, LaValle, Blesener. Nays (2) Montour, Keis. Blesener instructed the City Planner to do a more in-depth study and come back with a recommendation. The Planner indicated that the 3 second timeframe is common, but agreed there may be a wider variety of options. REZONING Mayor Blesener opened the Public Hearing to consider the rezoning of OF GERVAIS Gervais Mill Park and Nadeau Park from Single-Family Residential (R-1) MILL PARK to Public (P). He noted that the Parks & Recreation Commission and AND NADEAU the Planning Commission have recommended approval of the rezonings PARK as proposed, and that these rezonings reflect that actual use of these properties as City parks. Blesener further noted that there are two lots that were inadvertently omitted from the rezoning of Nadeau Park. These two lots will be considered in the November meeting cycle. There was no one present from the general public wishing to comment on this matter. Upon motion by Montour, seconded by LaValle, the public hearing was closed. Mr. Montour introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 2005-IO-252 -APPROVING THE REZONING OF GERVAIS MILL PARK AND NADEAU PARK FROM SINGLE- FAMILYRESIDENTIAL (R-I) TO PUBLIC (P) AS RECOMMENDED BY THE PARKS & RECREATION COMMISSION AND THE PLANNING COMMISSION The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by LaValle. Ayes (5). Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted.
