MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />LITTLE CANADA, MINNESOTA <br />NOVEMBER 9, 2005 <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a regular meeting of the City <br />Council of Little Canada, Minnesota was convened on the 9th day of <br />November, 2005 in the Council Chambers of the City Center located at <br />515 Little Canada Road in said City. <br />Mayor Bill Blesener called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. and the <br />following members of the City Council were present at roll call: <br />CITY COUNCIL: <br />Mayor <br />Council Member <br />Council Member <br />Council Member <br />Council Member <br />Mr. Bill Blesener <br />Mr. Jim LaValle <br />Mr. Rick Montour <br />Ms. Barbara Allan <br />Mr. John Keis <br />ALSO PRESENT: <br />City Administrator <br />City Attorney <br />Cable TV Producer <br />City Clerk <br />Mr. Joel R. Hanson <br />Mr. Thomas Sweeney <br />Mr. Brandon Rickert <br />Ms. Kathy Glanzer <br />MINUTES Mr. LaValle introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2005-11-259 -APPROVING THE MINUTES OF <br />THE OCTOBER 26, 2005 REGULAR COUNCIL MEETING <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Montour. <br />Ayes (5). <br />Nays (0). Resolution adopted. <br />CUP FOR Mayor Blesener opened the Public Hearing to consider an application for <br />SPECIAL a Conditional Use Permit allowing a special purpose fence eight (8) feet <br />PURPOSE in height to provide additional patio screening at 353 Rose Lane as <br />FENCE - requested by David Whitman. Blesener noted that the City Planner and <br />353 ROSE the Planning Commission is recommending approval of the CUP <br />LANE - subject to submission and approval of a landscape plan. <br />DAVID <br />WHITMAN Blesener asked the style of fence the Whitman's are proposing to <br /> construct. David Whitman replied Chat the fence would be a cedar, <br /> alternating board fence that would be stained the same color as his existing <br /> deck. The portion of the fence that would be 8 feet in height is 35 feet in <br /> length and immediately adjacent to the deck/pool area. <br />
