MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING CITY COUNCIL LITTLE CANADA, MINNESOTA NOVEMBER 9, 2005 Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a regular meeting of the City Council of Little Canada, Minnesota was convened on the 9th day of November, 2005 in the Council Chambers of the City Center located at 515 Little Canada Road in said City. Mayor Bill Blesener called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. and the following members of the City Council were present at roll call: CITY COUNCIL: Mayor Council Member Council Member Council Member Council Member Mr. Bill Blesener Mr. Jim LaValle Mr. Rick Montour Ms. Barbara Allan Mr. John Keis ALSO PRESENT: City Administrator City Attorney Cable TV Producer City Clerk Mr. Joel R. Hanson Mr. Thomas Sweeney Mr. Brandon Rickert Ms. Kathy Glanzer MINUTES Mr. LaValle introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 2005-11-259 -APPROVING THE MINUTES OF THE OCTOBER 26, 2005 REGULAR COUNCIL MEETING The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Montour. Ayes (5). Nays (0). Resolution adopted. CUP FOR Mayor Blesener opened the Public Hearing to consider an application for SPECIAL a Conditional Use Permit allowing a special purpose fence eight (8) feet PURPOSE in height to provide additional patio screening at 353 Rose Lane as FENCE - requested by David Whitman. Blesener noted that the City Planner and 353 ROSE the Planning Commission is recommending approval of the CUP LANE - subject to submission and approval of a landscape plan. DAVID WHITMAN Blesener asked the style of fence the Whitman's are proposing to construct. David Whitman replied Chat the fence would be a cedar, alternating board fence that would be stained the same color as his existing deck. The portion of the fence that would be 8 feet in height is 35 feet in length and immediately adjacent to the deck/pool area.
