MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />JUNE 11, 2008 <br />*APPROVAL OF TEMPORARYLIQUOR LICENSE FOR <br />CANADIAN DAYS COMMITTEE FOR THEAUGUST I, 2, 3, 2008 <br />CANADIAN DAYS CELEBRATION <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by McGraw. <br />Ayes (5). <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />HEATHER The City Administrator reviewed his June 6, 2008 memo regarding <br />OAKS the dedication of Outlots A, B, and C, Heather Oaks proposed by the <br />LAND property owners Mr. Oliver Erickson and Mr. and Mrs. Edwin Dropps. <br />DEDICATION The property owners are requesting that if the donation is accepted by the <br />City, that aNon-Cash Charitable Contribution form be executed for each <br />of these parcels. The Adminisri•ator reported that the property owners are <br />agreeable to paying 2008 property taxes in full. There is a balance ofjust <br />over $3,000 in unpaid assessments on two of the parcels. The property <br />owners would prefer that the City pick-up the assessments payable after <br />this tax year. <br />Blesener suggested that given the hefty tax deduction the propei•cy owners <br />will receive, that the property owners pay off the assessment balances. <br />The City Administrator further reported that the property owners are <br />agreeable to providing environmental warranties except for warranties <br />related to storm water run-off that is discharged onto these properties. The <br />Administrator reported that the City Attorney can draft the appropriate <br />agreement relative to these warranties. <br />Mr. Blesener introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2008-6-I50 -ACCEPTING THE DEDICATION <br />OF OUTLOTS A, B, AND C, HEATHER OAKS FROM MR. OLNER <br />ERICKSONAND MR. AND MRS. EDWIN DROPPS, AUTHORIZING <br />THE CITYATTORNEY TO DRAFT THE APPROPRIATE <br />ENVIRONMENTAL WARRANTY AGREEMENT AS DESCRIBED BY <br />THE CITYADMINISTRATOR, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR <br />AND CITYADMINISTRATOR TO EXECUTE BOTH THE <br />ENVIRONMENTAL WARRANTYAGREEMENTANb THE NON- <br />CASH CONTRIBUTION FORMS FOR EACH OF THE SUBJECT <br />PARCELS ON BEHALF OF THE CITY <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Allan. <br />Ayes (5). <br />Nays (0).
