MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />JUNE 25, 2008 <br />AUDIT <br />WORKSHOP <br />CALL FOR <br />CLOSED <br />SESSION <br />Mr. Montour introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2008-6-762 -CALLINGANAUDIT WORKSHOP <br />FOR WEDNESDAY, JULY 9, 2008, AT 6:45 P.M. AS <br />RECOMMENDED BY THE FINANCE DIRECTOR <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Keis. <br />Ayes (5). <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />The City Attorney recommended that the Council go into closed session <br />to discuss the Valor Enterprises versus City of Little Canada litigation. <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2008-6-163 - TEMPORARILYADJOURNING <br />THE REGULAR COUNCIL MEETING AND CONVENING INTO <br />CLOSED SESSION AS RECOMMENDED BY THE CITY ATTORNEY <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Allan. <br />Ayes (5). <br />Nays (0). Resolution Declared adopted. <br />At this point in the meeting, 8:55 p.m., Council went into closed session. <br />The regular Council meeting was reconvened at 9:37 p.m. <br />RECONVENE The City Attorney reported that the Council just adjourned a closed <br />INTO session at which a mediation session related to the Valor Enterprises <br />REGULAR versus City of Little Canada litigation was discussed. James Monge, <br />SESSION the City's legal representative from the LMCIT, was also present at this <br />session. The City Attorney reported that the Council provided legal <br />counsel with general direction related to this matter. <br />ADJOURN Ms. Allan introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOL UTION NO.2008-6-165 -ADJOURNING <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by McGraw. <br />Ayes (5). <br />Nays (0).
