MINUTES <br />Parks & Recreatimr Commission <br />April 1, 2004 <br />• The Watershed is still interested in the city property located on Noel Drive across from <br />Little Canada City Center. They have decided to build their own structure. However, they <br />still need to choose a location. <br />• An article on Buckthorn was placed in the April issue of the city newsletter. <br />• Goose control will begin soon. No volunteer has been found yet. The volunteer will police <br />designated areas and scare away geese with a noisemaker. if you know of someone <br />interested in helping us with this endeavor, please have him or her contact Little Canada <br />City Center. <br />• The Friends of the Parks & Trails' tree sale is underway. <br />• Last year's "all day" summer day camp was very successful and was held eight weeks. This <br />year, an additional week will be added. <br />• The adult softball leagues are full with the exception of Friday night's league which had to <br />be cancelled due to lack of teams. <br />• The May and June meetings will include a tour of the parks and trails.
