MINUTES <br />Parks & Recreation Commission <br />May 6, 2004 <br />• Gretchen Crary sent an e-mail to the Director asking for volunteers on behalf of Barb Allan <br />to help with a planting project in the Market Place pond a~~ea on Sunday, May 16. Interested <br />Commissioners should let the Director know. <br />• One donation was received through the Friends of the Parks & Trail's tree sale program. <br />The donation came from Tim Broten and consisted of two black hills spruce trees that have <br />already been planted in Spooner Park. Thanks to Broten for this thoughtful donation! <br />• Rondeau Park is in the final stages of completion. Pads have been installed under the <br />swings and the area is being prepared for hydroseeding. <br />• The Watershed's festival "WaterFest" will be held on May 22 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at <br />Lake Phalen's park pavilion. <br />• Registration for archery lessons, day camp, firearm safety, golf lessons, and youth trips has <br />started.
