MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING <br />PARKS & RECREATION COMMISSION <br />LITTLE CANADA, MINNESOTA <br />June 3, 2004 <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a regular meeting of the Parks & Recreation Commission <br />of the City of Little Canada, Minnesota was held on the 3`d day of June, 2004 in the Council <br />Chambers of the City Center located at 515 Little Canada Road East in said City. <br />Chair Ginger Sackett Glaser called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. and the following members <br />of the Commission were present: <br />MEMBERS PRESENT: Ms. Ginger Sackett Glaser, Chair <br />Mr. James Broten <br />Ms. Gretchen Crary <br />Mr. Craig Larson <br />Mr. Kevin Steinert <br />MEMBERS ABSENT: Ms. Molly Boss <br />Mr. David Gray <br />ALSO PRESENT: Mr. Jim Morelan, Parks & Recreation Director <br />Mr. Bill Sanders, Parks Consultant <br />Ms. Kris Pechman, Recording Secretary <br />MINUTES Larson reco»zznended that the minutes of the meeting held on May 6, 2004 be approved as <br />submitted. <br />Motion seconded by Steinert. <br />Motion carried 5 - 0. <br />TRAIL The Commission reviewed the 2004 Action Plan regarding completion of the pedestrian <br />SYSTEM trail system. The Director stated that the Council would like Che Commission to come up with a <br />list of future trail projects for completion. Sanders indicated that the unfinished trail projects he <br />has identified includes the following: <br />• Bridge (Waterworks trail to homes west of Condit). <br />• Round Lake trail in Che Rice Street/LitCle Canada Road redevelopment a~•ea. <br />• Trail under powerlines to Pioneer Park and from Desoto to Pioneer Park. <br />• Connection under powerlines to Maplewood with a boardwalk. <br />• County Road B2 from Roseville Area Middle School to Rice Street. <br />• All along Rice Street. <br />• Waterworks property south of Little Canada Road. <br />• Demont and Waterworks crossings at I35E. <br />Page 1 of 3 <br />
