MINUTES <br />PLANNING COMMISSION <br />FEBRUARY 12, 2004 <br />Keis suggested that action on this request be tabled for one month to allow <br />for some further planning, i.e. the development of a better site plan, exact <br />square footage of outdoor storage, the confinement of the outdoor storage <br />into a significantly smaller space. Keis also asked that City staff provide a <br />report on wood burning heating sources as relates to State or County <br />regulations, emissions, whether they are allowed by surrounding cities. <br />Duray suggested that between now and the March meeting, that Precision <br />'tree clean up their property and dispose of the junk vehicles, etc. that do <br />not belong on the site. Barraclough suggested that at the March meeting <br />Precision Tree report on what their long-term plans are for the property. <br />Keis recommended tabling action on the Variance and Amendment to <br />Conditional Use Permit requested by Precision Tree until the March 11, <br />2004 Planning Commission meeting pending receipt of the additional <br />information as discussed this evening. <br />Motion seconded by Wojcik. <br />Motion carried 5 - 0. <br />PROPERTY Mr. Terry Machin appeared before the Commission requesting approval <br />DIVISION of a Property'Division subdividing a property into two lots (one lot for <br />& VACATION the existing house and the other to hold the marsh area as conservation <br />OF FIFTH wetland) as well as a Vacation of street right-of--way for Fifth Avenue <br />AVENUE - lying between Morrison Avenue on the west and McMenemy Street on <br />2367 McMENEMY the east. Machin indicated that by preserving the wetland area as a <br />ROAD - separate lot they are attempting to preserve this property from the <br />MACIIIN likelihood of ever being developed. <br />PROPERTY <br />The City Planner recommended that the lots be as square as possible, <br />recommending that the flag area of the high ground be combined with the <br />proposed wetland lot. <br />Barraclough asked if the Machin Family would retain ownership of the <br />wetland lot. Machin replied that they would. <br />Keis asked if a setback requirements would be met for the house. The <br />Planner a~uicipated that they would, but recommended that the location of <br />the house in relation to the proposed lot lines be verifted. <br />Keis recommended approval of the Property Division of 2367 McMenemy <br />Road as requested by the Machin Family subject to compliance with the <br />-7- <br />
