Fahey felt the layout submitted by Mendota Homes was more reflective of a mini-mall rather than the direction that the City is trying to go for the redevelopment area. Mr. Blesener introduced resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTIONNO. 2004-7-79 -CONTINUING THE PUBLIC HEARING ON THE PRELIMINARY & FINAL PI AT, DEVELOPMENT STAGE AND FINAL STAGE PUD, AND ARCHITECTURAL REVIEW FOR LITTLE CANADA OFFICE CONDOMINIUMS, MENDOTA HOMES, PENDING A RECOMMENDATION FROM THE PLANNING COMMISSION The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by LaValle. Ayes (5) Blesener, LaValle, Montour, Anderson, Fahey. Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. Blesener noted that parking at the recently developed townofl~ice parks in the City is very tight, and there is the need to revisit parking requirements for these projects. Fahey indicated that he is troubled with the proposal that the basement space fa- the Little Canada Office Condominiums will be restricted to storage space, therefore, is not counted when calculating required parking. Fahey felt that this will eventually become an enforcement issue for the City. Fahey suggested that the Little Canada Office Condominium project may be too dense. He expressed concern that given the project is in a retail area, office space could be converted to retail space, thus requiring more parking. Fahey agreed that parking requirements for townoffice developments must be reviewed. VACATION Mayor Fahey opened the public hearing to consider the vacation of the OF PORTION easterly l0 feet of Boss Road. Fahey noted that he will be abstaining from OF BOSS the discussion and the vote on this matter. ROAD Mr. Dick Boss appeared before the Council requesting the vacation of the east 10 feet of Boss Road. He noted that there is currently 60 feet of right- of-way for Boss Road and current City standards require 50 feet of right- of=way for residential roads. There was no one else present fl~om the general public wishing to comment on this matter.
