MINUTES CITY COUNCIL AUGUST 26, 2015 The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Keis. Ayes (4). Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. Keis introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 2015-8-165 — TABLING ACTION ON THE REQUEST FOR PLANNED UNIT DEVELOPMENT (PUD) PERMITS FOR OUTDOOR STORAGE ON BOTH PARCELS A AND B AT 50 SOUTH OWASSO BLVD. UNTIL A PUD AGREEMENT CAN BE REVIEWED AND ACTED UPON BY THE CITY COUNCIL AND SUBJECT TO THE OWNERS OF PRECISION TREE SIGNING A 60 - DAY WAIVER AGREEMENT The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Fischer. Ayes (4). Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. DUPLEX The City Administrator reported that the Council, acting as the Board LAPSE OF of Adjustment & Appeals, tabled action on the Roger Berres appeal LAPSE OF of the lapse of duplex use for property located at 2955/2957 Arcade USE APPEAL — Street, until August 26, 2015. Therefore, the Council should temporarily ROGER adjourn and then convene as the Board of Adjustment & Appeals. BERRES McGraw introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 2015-8-166 — TEMPORARILY ADJOURNING AS THE CITY COUNCIL AND CONVENING AS THE BOARD OF ADJUSTMENTS & APPEALS The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Keis. Ayes (4). Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. The City Administrator noted that Roger Berres submitted a request for reinstatement of the use of his property at 2955/2957 Arcade Street as a duplex, which was received by the City on June 22, 2015. At a meetings held July 22, 2015 and August 12, 2015, the Board of Adjustment & Appeals reviewed this request and instructed City staff to work with the Housing Resource Center to put together a workscope and estimates for the rehabilitation of 2955/2957 Arcade Street. The Board also asked that City staff work to establish timelines for completion of the work as well as identify the means to ensure that Mr. Berres has the appropriate financial 5
