Schedule batting cage use, <br />10, Schedule and chaperone the LCRA bus trips for participants of the Parks and. <br />Recreation Department programs, (Twins, Timberwolves, and Gophers). <br />PROVIDE YOUTH NON -TEAM ACTIVITIES: <br />Archery Lessons, After School Basketball, After School Tennis, Basketball Clinic, <br />Firearm Safety, Gymnastics (Fall & Winter), Skating Lessons, Soccer Clinic, Fishing <br />Clinic. <br />1. Coordinate with Bwana Archery Center and the DNR for Archery Lessons and <br />Firearm Safety. <br />2, Solicit and hire instructors for these programs. <br />3. Purchase and distribute "staff shirts" to program instructors. <br />GENERAL YOUTH ACTIVITY COORDINATION: <br />1. Make registration decisions on registration cutoff numbers and dates, Decide if <br />participant would be allowed to play outside of the set age guidelines. <br />2. Discuss scholarship requests from parents and approve as needed. <br />3. Take and return calls and emails from parents regarding questions about programs. <br />4. Order and issue equipment and uniforms, Repair and replace as necessary. <br />5. Coordinate with St, John's School, Little Canada School and District 623 on <br />facility use requests. <br />6. Approve and coordinate issuance of park shelter and Old Fire Hall permits to <br />teams for meetings and post season team events. <br />7. Invoice the LCRA for youth activity fee subsidies and scholarships. <br />8. Perform background checks on all youth coaches and instructors. <br />9. Provide concussion training to all youth coaches and instructors. <br />ADULT ACTIVITIES: <br />Senior Morning Talks, Adult Softball, Driver Safety Course, Senior Exercise, Adult <br />Volleyball, Adult Open Basketball, Community Bus Trips (Twins, Wild, Saints, <br />Timberwolves) <br />1. Plan topics and attend Senior Morning Talks. <br />2, Hire officials for adult softball, <br />3. Conduct softball managers meeting. <br />4. Work with the different Minnesota teams for scheduling a community bus trip. <br />S. Schedule buses, chaperone, and purchase door prizes for Community Trips. <br />6. Recruit speakers for Senior Morning Talks. <br />7. Work with AARP and volunteer instructors on the Driver Safety Course, <br />
