GENERAL ACTIVITY COORDINATION: <br />1. Set league and participation fees. <br />2. Obtain field and gym use permits. <br />3. Publicize activities via flyers distributed to schools, city cable channel, website, <br />Le Petit, District 623 brochure, and email. <br />4. Schedule outdoor skating rink use. <br />5. Update weather hotline with cancellation notices. <br />6. Schedule and cancel outdoor field lighting. <br />7. Negotiate field use fees by other entities for leagues and tournaments. (Sunday <br />Church Softball League, Roseville Youth Baseball, Maplewood Athletic <br />Association Baseball, Maplewood Parks and Recreation Softball, Tuesday, <br />Thursday and Friday Adult Softball, High School. Soccer, Tri -County Fast Pitch, <br />Roseville Fast Pitch and MRPA) <br />8. Schedule and invoice field use for games by outside leagues. (Roseville Youth <br />Baseball, NSSA, Maplewood Athletic Association Baseball, High Schools). <br />MISCELLANEOUS ACTIVITIES: <br />1. Ice cream social <br />2. Farmers' Market <br />3. Arbor Day Celebration <br />4. Approve rentals and coordinate Old Fire Hall cleaning <br />• Schedule sheriffs to monitor rules and compliance of renters <br />• Based upon reports from sheriff and custodian determine return of damage <br />deposit <br />• Notify and discuss withheld damage deposits with renters <br />5. Outdoor skating rink facilities <br />• Hire rink supervisor <br />• Schedule rink hours <br />6. Plan and coordinate construction of new park buildings and facilities. <br />7. Hire, supervise and schedule building aide for Little Canada School. <br />8. Approve and schedule park shelter and trail usage for non profit entities: <br />Local Scout Troops <br />Susan G Kornen 3 Day Cancer Walk. <br />P&R Department Sports Teams <br />Miscellaneous duties: <br />1. Solicit donations from the LCRA, Chevrolet and local businesses <br />2. Set agenda for monthly staff meetings. <br />3. Hire, supervise, and schedule building cleaner at the Old Fire Hall. <br />
