MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />SEPTEMBER 23, 2015 <br />Keis introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2015-9-189 — CALLING A PUBLIC HEARING TO <br />CONSIDER ADOPTION OF THE 2016 BUDGET FOR <br />WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 16, 2015, AT 7:30 P.M. <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Fischer. <br />Ayes (4). <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />TEMPORARY The City Clerk recommended approval of a Temporary Liquor License <br />LIQUOR for the Little Canada Recreation Association's Halloween Dance to be <br />LICENSE- held on Saturday, October 24, 2015, pending receipt of the appropriate <br />LCRA application documents and liquor liability insurance certificate. <br />HALLOWEEN <br />DANCE Keis introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2015-9-190 — APPROVING A TEMPORARY <br />LIQUOR LICENSE FOR THE LITTLE CANADA RECREATION <br />ASSOCIATION FOR ITS HALLOWEEN DANCE TO BE HELD <br />OCTOBER 24, 2015 PENDING RECEIPT OF THE APPROPRIATE <br />APPLICATION MATERIALS AND CERTIFICATE OF LIQUOR <br />LIABILITY INSURANCE <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Montour. <br />Ayes (4). <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />SPEEDING Rocky Waite, 2651 Lakeshore Avenue, appeared before the Council <br />ENFORCEMENT requesting increased speed enforcement within Little Canada <br />neighborhoods. Waite informed the Council on the speeding that he has <br />observed in his neighborhood as well as others in the City. He also felt <br />that while traffic enforcement is important on major roads in the City, it is <br />most important in neighborhoods where people reside. Waite indicated <br />that he would like to see the deputies stop off at parks, etc. and make <br />contact with residents. <br />The City Administrator reported that there will be a "Coffee With A Cop" <br />event on Wednesday, October 7th, at Caribou on Rice Street where <br />residents can meet with deputies and discuss concerns, etc. He also <br />indicated that currently the contracting cities are short one traffic car due <br />to an illness, but other deputies are doing traffic enforcement when time <br />10 <br />
