MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />OCTOBER 14, 2015 <br />CenturyLink's position that the Federal Law usurps state authority. The <br />Administrator indicated that the indication from CenturyLink is that they <br />would have a 65% build out accomplished in Little Canada within a very <br />short period of time. The Administrator suggested that the City should <br />know the build out schedule and service levels on the front end so that <br />Little Canada residents can be informed of this information. <br />McGraw introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2015-10-203 — CALLING A PUBLIC HEARING <br />TO CONSIDER A CABLE TV FRANCHISE FOR CENTURYLINK <br />FOR WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 28, 2015 AT 7:30 P.M. <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Keis. <br />Ayes (5). <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />Montour reported that CTV North Suburbs is conducting a survey relative <br />to local media. The general public is being asked to share its views on <br />Comcast's cable products and customer service as well as on community <br />programming and resources. The general public can participate in the <br />survey up through October 31st by going to <br />www.ctvnorthsuburbs.org/survey. Participants will be entered into a <br />drawing for $200.
