We have <br />had the opportunity to bow hunt in the past on our property, unfortunately with no success. It is my <br />understanding that the council has chosen not to grant deer hunting permits in our area this year. With <br />the new development going in on the corner of Rice Street and Country Drive and the clearing out of <br />trees, we have had many more deer than usual roaming our property due to the fact that their woods <br />are gone. There is a wounded deer with a broken leg wandering through our yard and property on a <br />daily basis, along with a pretty nice male as well! I would like the council to consider granting a special <br />permit due to these unusual circumstances to take these deer this fall. I have proper tags from the MN <br />DNR and would need your permission to hunt this area with a Bow and Arrow. Please feel free to <br />contact me it you have any further questions.
