MINUTES <br />PLANNING COMMISSION <br />JULY 8, 2004 <br />SIGN PLANS Duray recommended approval of an ordinance amending Chapter 903.110 <br />of the Little Canada City Code, known as the Zoning Ordinance, by <br />providing for a process for review of Comprehensive Sign Plans in the <br />"PUD", Planned Unit Development District. <br />Motion seconded by Weihe. <br />Motion carried 5 - 0. <br />TEXT The City Planner presented two proposed amendments to the Zoning <br />AMENDMENT - District. The first includes references to new zoning districts which were <br />ANTENNAS adopted after the City's Tower and Antenna Ordinance was adopted. The <br />AND TOWERS second includes reference to new zoning districts in the general zoning <br />district listing. <br />Keis recommended approval of an ordinance amending Chapter 903.140 <br />of the Little Canada City Code, known as the Zoning Ordinance, by <br />providing for antennas and towers in new zoning districts. <br />Motion seconded by Rheaume. <br />Motion carried 5 - 0. <br />Keis recommended approval of au ordinance amending Chapter 904 of the <br />Little Canada City Code, known as the Zoning Ordinance, by providing <br />for additional zoning districts. <br />Motion seconded by Rheaume. <br />Motion carried 5 - 0. <br />TEXT The City Planner presented an Amendment to the Zoning Codes which <br />AMENDMENT- changes the front yard setback in the Shoreland District to 30 feet, which <br />SETBACK is consistent with the K-1 "Loring District The Planner noted that while <br />REQUIREMENTS the Code provides that the more restrictive of the two setbacks is required <br /> when there is an overlap of the R-1 District and Shoreland District <br /> requirements, this has caused some confusion on the part of developers in <br /> the recent past. The ordinance amendment would make the setbacks <br /> consistent, thus eliminating any confusion. <br />-14- <br />
