MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />FEBRUARY 25, 2004 <br />Mr. Fahey introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RF.SOI, UTION NO. 2004-2-34 - INSTRUCTING THE CITY <br />PLANNER TO REVIEW THE PUD ZONING DISTRICT REI ATIVE <br />TO 'THE DLSCUSSION THIS EVENING <br />The fa~egoing resolution was duly seconded by LaValle. <br />Ayes (3) Fahey, LaValle, Anderson. <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />The Council instructed the City Administrator to send a letter to the <br />County indicating that Little Canada is not interested in a suburban court <br />facility within the City. <br />GAMBLING The Council reviewed the recommendation of City staff relative to <br />ORDINANCE clarification of 10%.Fund required contributions. <br />Mr. LaValle introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2(104-2-35 -INSTRUCTING T'HE CITY <br />ATTORNEY TO PREPARF. ANAMENDMENT TO GAMBLING <br />ORDINANCF. AS RELATES TO REQUIRED 10% FUND <br />CONTR713UTIONSAS RECOMMENDED BY CITYSTAFF <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Fahey. <br />Ayes (3) LaValle, Fahey, Anderson. <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />JUNK The City Administrator reviewed his report dated February 20°i relative <br />CAR to a more proactive approach to the elimination ofjunk cars within the <br />SWEEP City. It was the consensus of the Council to support a more proactive <br />approach provided that consideration is given to seasonal weather <br />conditions in requiring the removal of these vehicles. <br />Anderson suggested that information be provided in the City's newsletter, <br />on cable TV, and on the Web site informing property owners of the City's <br />proactive approach in eliminating junk cars. <br />TWIN LAKE The City Administrator reported that since the February 23"~ Improvement <br />AREA Hearing, he has contacted the Vadnais Heights' City Administrator and <br />WATERMAIN was informed that there is the potential that Vadnais Heights will loop <br />13 <br />
