Mr. Greg Schroeder
MN DOT Mr. Frank Pafko
Commissioner Ms. Jan Wiesner
Deputy Clerk Ms. Kathy Glanzer
UNWEAVE The City Engineer reviewed the cost summary for the storm sewer
THE and watermain components of the Unweave the Weave and the Edgerton
WEAVE Bridge project. The Engineer provided a breakdown of costs on an area
basis beginning with the Edgerton Street bridge. Total storm sewer costs
for the Edgerton Street bridge project are estimated at $328,040 with the
County paying $]71,750 and the City's share at $156,290. The County's
and City's share of project costs are estimated based on a minimum State
Aid participation of 55% for the County and 45% for the City. The
Engineer reviewed the drainage area that will be served by the storm
sewer outlet at the Edgerton bridge site to 694.
Fahey asked if the City's share of the storm sewer is based on the fact that
in addition to the road surface run-off, a good share of run-off is coming
from the adjacent property. The Engineer replied that that was correct.
He also noted that the City has requested the storm sewer outlet to the
freeway because there is no room to construct ponds in this area.
