MINUTES
CITY COUNCIL
NOVEMBER 9, 2015
City Administrator sees no problem with using the Cable TV funds for
this.
McGraw questioned whether this project was big enough to warrant going
out for another bid. City Administrator commented that the problem with
doing that is CTV has already shot a lot of footage for this so he is not
sure how to get another contractor involved.
Keis stated that he thought the assumption was there that this could be
done with the 100 hours from CTV but the city went through the hours
much quicker than anticipated. City Administrator noted that CTV has
documented a lot for the city recently. The chronology of the Veteran's
Memorial is one thing they have taken a lot of footage of and
Councilmember Montour would like to see the video completed.
McGraw introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption:
RESOLUTIONNO. 2015-11-219 —APPROVING THE CONTRACT
WITH CTV IN THE AMOUNT OF $2,675 FOR THE COMPLETION
OF THE VETERAN'S MEMORIAL VIDEO
The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Keis.
Ayes (4).
Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted.
APPROVAL OF The City Administrator reported that he had received an invoice for the
CHANGE change orders related to the City Hall remodel. There were three items:
ORDER 7-L $585 to add an enhancer and sealer to the stone work in the Council
FOR THE CITY Chambers, $799 for additional plumbing work related to the replacement
HALL of countertops, and $3,747 for the additional supervision and labor
RENOVATION required for these changes. City Administrator had not yet gotten an
answer back from James Steele Construction if this would complete the
construction. He recommended the Council approve this change order
subject to finding out if this completes the work and withholding payment
to James Steele Construction until all work is completed.
Keis asked if this has been paid yet. City Administrator stated it had not.
Fischer asked if the labor hours requested by James Steele were accounted
for. City Administrator responded that they had done most of the work
and construction oversight for the remodel and this seems reasonable.
McGraw introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption:
on
