MINUTES OF THE WORKSHOP MEETING <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />LITTLE CANADA, MINNESOTA <br />APRIL 28, 2004 <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a workshop meeting of the City <br />Council of Little Canada, Minnesota was convened on the 28th day of <br />April, 2004 in the Council Chambers of the City Center located at 515 <br />Little Canada Road in said City. <br />Mayor Michael I. Fahey called the meeting to order at 6:30 p.m. and the <br />following members of the City Council were present at roll call: <br />CITY COUNCIL: Mayor Mr. Michael I- Fahey <br />Council Member Mr. Matt Anderson <br />Council Member Mr. Bill Blesener <br />Council Member Mr. Rick Montour <br />ABSENT: Council Member Mr. Jim LaValle <br />ALSO PRESENT: City Administrator Mr. Joel R. I-Ianson <br />Public Works Dir. Mr. Greg Schroeder <br />Parks & Rec. Dir. Mr. Jim Morelan <br />Deputy Clerk Ms. Kathy Glanzer <br />2004 ACTION The purpose of this workshop is to review and provide input on the <br />PLANS proposed action platzs drafted by the City Administrator for accomplishing <br />the City's 2004 Goals. <br />The first goal is "Explore Options for Water System with St. Paul" and <br />Council reviewed the proposed action plan. The City Administrator <br />reported that current discussions with St. Paul reveal that the maintenance <br />standards St. Paul would provide for Che water system may not meet the <br />City's expectations. Additional discussion and information is needed from <br />St. Paul to clarify the level of maintenance that would be done on the <br />City's system. City staff will be developing a list of specific issues for <br />review and comment by St. Paul. Once staff has that response, a detailed <br />report will be provided to the Council. The Administrator also reported <br />that the Accounting Supervisor is updating the water system replacement <br />schedule based on a 100-year cycle and analyzing depreciation issues. <br />Blesener noted that St. Paul is looking for the antenna revenue from the <br />cell locations on the water tower.
