MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />JUNE 23, 2004 <br />Mr. Montour introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />REb'07 UTION NO. 2004-6-132 -DENYING THE CONDITIONAL. <br />USE PERMIT FOR A RESIDENTIAL. PLANNED UNIT <br />DEVELOPMENT TO A7 LOW A DEVIATION IN SIDE YARD <br />SETI3ACKb' FOR TILE HIDDEN ACRES DEVELOPMENT <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by LaValle. <br />Ayes (4) Montour, LaValle, Anderson, Fahey. <br />Nays (1) Blesener. Resolution declared adopted. <br />TEXT Mayor Fahey opened the public hearing to consider a Text Amendment to <br />AMENDMENT the Zoning Code relative to designation of Savage Lake in the Shoreland <br />SAVAGE District. The Planning Commission has recommended approval. <br />LAKE <br />DESIGNATION There was no one present from the general public wishing to comment on <br />this matter. <br />Upon motion by Blesener, seconded by LaValle, the public hewing was <br />closed. <br />Mr. Blesener introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOI. UTION NO. 2004-G-733 -AMENDING CHAPTER 9I7.020.A. <br />OF TFIE LITTLE CANADA CITY CODE, KNOWN Ab` TILE <br />SLIORELAND ZONING ORDINANCE, ]3Y PROVIDING FOR THE <br />SHORELAND CLASSIFICATION OF SAVAGE LAKE <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by LaValle. <br />Ayes (5) Blesener, LaValle, Montour, Anderson, Fahey. <br />Nays(0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />WATERSHED'S Mayor Fahey reviewed the recent history of the City's Noe} Drive <br />POTENTIAL property relative to its rezoning to Public in 2002 and the Planning <br />:PURCHASE OF Commission's recommendation on September 12, 2002 that should the <br />NOEL DRIVE decision be to sell the property, the use should be Single-Family <br />PROPERTY Residential He noted that on October 3, 2002, the Parks & Recreation <br /> Commission recommended that the City retain complete ownership of the <br /> Noel Drive property. In January of 2004, the Watershed approached the <br /> City relative to their potential purchase and development of this property. <br /> On April 8, 2004, the Planning Commission recommended that the City <br /> proceed with the sale of the property to the Watershed District.
