Resolution declared adopted.
VARIANCE & Acting Mayor LaValle opened the continuation of Public Hearing for
CUP - consideration of a Variance to allow outdoor storage in excess of Code
50 SOUTH limitations and an Amendment to Conditional Ilse Permit to modify the
OWASSO BLVD. - site plan to reflect additional outdoor storage as well as accessory
PRECISION structure for wood-burning heating system at 50 South Owasso Blvd. as
TREE requested by Precision Tree. It was noted that the Planning Commission
has recommended denial of all aspects of the request except for the
modification of the site plan to add fuel tanks. The Plam~ing Commission
has also recommended that the site be brought into compliance within 90
days.
Chris Groholski, Precision 7"ree, indicated that the Variance requested is
needed in order that they eau continue to use their property. She
submitted a revised site plan for the Council's consideration. Groholski
reported that Precision Tree would also like to plant trees on the east side
of the property as well as install a fence for security purposes. With
regard to the woodpile on the property, Groholski indicated that this pile
constantly changes over as this wood is collected and recycled. Groholski
noted the City's encouragement of recycling and indicated that the wood
is collected and made into wood products.
Blesener noted that the City has been working on the issues at the
Precision Tree site for almost one year and no progress has been made.
Blesener pointed out that after the Planning Commission recommended
denial at their last meeting, Precision Tree appears at the Council meeting
this evening with a revised site plan. IIc further noted that City staff has
had no oppoi Yunity to review this site plan. Blesener felt that the Council
should deny the request for Variance and CUP Amendment this evening,
and start all over.
