Review could take place at the <br /> November 16°i Planning Commission mceCing and at the November 24°' <br /> City Council meeting. <br />John Anish, Yorkto^ Ridge, reported that the wood burning stove is <br />currently running. The City Administrata~ indicated that it was started up <br />for only today as preparation for the testing of Che stove. The stove will <br />Chen be tested with regard to odor and emissions to determine if <br />modifications to the stove will address these issues. <br />131esener indicated that the issue is not whether or not Che stove eau meeC <br />PCA standards, but if the offensive odors can be eliminated. The City <br />Administrator indicated that the property owner bas been made aware that <br />this is the issue. <br />Fahey suggested that Precision Tree be given the opportunity to modify <br />the stove to address the concerns. The stove can then be tested to <br />determine if the issue has been resolved. Fahey felt that a reasonable <br />judgment will need to be made on this issue. <br />Anish pointed out that in addition to the concerns that the odor has for the <br />Yorkton neighborhood, Slumberland has an air intake system on its <br />building. The odors from this stove are very problematic for Slumberland. <br />Again, Fahey indicated that there will have to be a reasonable judgment on <br />this issue. 1 fe indicated that wood burning is a common occurrence. <br />Fahey felt that the testing should be allowed to proceed to determine if the <br />modifications made have been successful. <br />Anish indicated that he agreed that wood burning was common, but <br />pointed out that this is of a totally different nature than a residential fire <br />place or a bon tire. Anish also indicated that this is a poor location to have <br />a wood bw~nnig heat sow~ce. <br />
