MINUT:CS <br />CITY COiJNC1L <br />NOVEMBER 24, 2004 <br />PARK The Council reviewed the bids for construction of the Spooner Park <br />STORAGE storage building. The Parks & Recreation Director noted that RVK <br />BIIILDING Architects will be the construction manager for this project. The various <br />construction components have been bid separately in order to achieve <br />better pricing for this project. The sine of the storage garage is <br />approximately 1,300 square feet and the exterior will be brick to match the <br />adjacent school building. <br />Montour asked if the existing garage would be sold. The Director <br />indicated that he has found no one interested in the existing garage <br />structure. IC was noted that total project costs are estimated at $110,000 <br />and will likely be closer to $105,000. Resolution declared adopted. <br />PUBLIC The City Administrator reported that the Public Worl<s Director has <br />WORKS resigned to take a position with the City of Minneapolis. His last day <br />DIRECTOR will be Tuesday, December 14, 2004. <br />Mayor Fahey congratulated the Public Worl<s .Director on his new position <br />and wished him well.
