MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />DECEMBER 15, 2004 <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Montour. <br />Ayes (5) :LaValle, Montour, Allan, Fahey,Blesener. <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />COUNCIL Mayor Fahey reported that six people have applied for the City Council <br />VACANCY vacancy. Those individuals are H. Lee Holden, Katie Socha, Jeffrey <br />Groves, Bernard C. Menge, Gary 7. Rheaume, and John T. Keis. Fahey <br />reported that a letter of support was received for one individual who did <br />not submit a letter of interest for the vacancy. After some discussion, the <br />consensus of the Council was that each Council Member would rate the <br />applicants, those ratings would be compiled by the City Administrator, <br />and the three applicants with the highest ratings would be interviewed by <br />the Council on Wednesday, January 5°i. It was also noted that if a tied <br />ranking necessitated, four applicants would be interviewed. <br />Fahey introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2004-12-312 -ADOP'L'ING T]IE RANKING <br />SYb"TEA1 FOR CI%'I' COUNCI7 CANDIDATES' AS RECOMMENDED <br />BYTIIECITYADMINISIRATOR, W7THRANXINGSTOI3E <br />SUBMITTED TO THE CITYADMINISTRATOR BPDECEMBER 20, <br />2004, AND INTERVIEWS OF THE %'OP THREE RANKED <br />CANDIDATES (TOP FOUR IF TFIERE IS A ,TIE WITH TIZE THIRD <br />AND FOURTH RANK7NGS)TO BE CONDUCTED ON <br />WEDNESDAY, .TANUARY 5, 2005 BEGINNING AT 6: 00 P.M. <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Blesener. <br />Ayes (5) Fahey, Blesener, Montour, LaValle, Allan. <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />The City /administrator stated that he would prepare a draft list of <br />interview questions for the Council's review and comments within the <br />next week.. <br />INSTALL Fahey introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />STREET <br />LIGHTS ON RESOLUTION NO. 2004-72-313 -AWARDING THE QUOTE OF <br />MIDDLE SIGNATUltE7.IGHTING IN THE AMOUNT OF $7,N72.72 FOR <br />STREET INSTAI_I_A'lION OFFOUR STREETI IGHTS ALONG MIDDLE <br />.S'T REET AS RL'COMMEM)ED BY THE PUBLIC WORKS <br />DIRECTOR <br />12 <br />
