MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />DECEMBER 15, 2004 <br />FINAL PLAT- Mayor Fahey opened the Public I-Tearing to consider the request for <br />GERVAIS approval of a Piual Plat for Gervais Bills Addition consisting of <br />HILLS twelve (12) single-family lots. It was noted that the Planning Commission <br />ADDITION recommended approval of the Final Plat subject to compliance with the <br />recommendations of the City Planner, City Engineer, and MN DOT. <br />7"here was no one present from the general public wishing to comment on <br />this matter. <br />Upon motion by Montour, seconded by LaValle, the public hearing was <br />closed. <br />Blesener asked the status of MN DOT approvals for this project <br />Jon Whitcomb, Jon Wesley Investments, reported that he has been in <br />discussions with MN DO"T relative to this project. Whitcomb reported <br />that he supplied MN D0T the drainage calculations sane time ago. IvIN <br />DOT is in the process of verifying some of the Watershed's numbers <br />relative to drainage. Whitcomb indicated that he has applied for a MN <br />,DOT permit, and is awaiting its issuance. <br />Montour asked the status of the grading. Whitcomb replied that the <br />grading is nearly complete and building pads have been established. <br />Fahey noted a letter of concern received from a nearby resident relative to <br />increased noise volumes as a result of tree removal. Pahey noted that once <br />houses are constructed and tree replacement occurs, noise levels will <br />decrease. <br />Whitcomb agreed and indicated that in the spring grading will be <br />completed and landscaping will be installed. <br />Mr. Blesener introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RES07, UTION NO. 2004-T 2-301-APPROVING THL' FINAL PLAT <br />FOR GEl2 vA/S HII_L.S ADDI"TION SU13Z~CT TO COMPLIANCE <br />W17H TF1E I2ECOMMEM)AT'IONS OF TBl CITY PI ANNER, CITY <br />BNGINF.ER, AND MN DOT <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by LaValle. <br />Ayes (5) Blesener, LaValle, Fahey, Montour, Allan. <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />4 <br />
