MINUTES <br />CITY COUNC[L <br />DECEMBER 15, 2004 <br />Upon motion by LaValle, seconded by Montour, the public heating was <br />closed. <br />Mr. LaValle introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RF_SOL UTION NO. 2004-72-304 -VACATING DRAINAGE AND <br />UTILITY EASEMENTS WITHIN OUTLOT A, VI] LAS AT L ITTLE <br />CANADA SU13.TECT TO THE DEDICATION OF REPLACEMENT <br />EASEMENT S AS PART OF THE F7NAL PI AT FOR THIS <br />PROPI'RTY <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Pahey. <br />Ayes (5) LaValle, Fa1~ey, Montour, Blesener, Allan. <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />2005 BUDGET Mayor Fahey opened the Public I-Tearing to consider adoption of the 2005 <br />Budget. Pahey noted that the 2005 Gross Tax levy is proposed at <br />$2,131,418, a 1.65% increase over 2004. In addition to Council's review <br />of the proposed 2005 Budget, 2005 salaries as well as the Capital <br />Improvement Plan were reviewed. <br />Blesener noted that the 2005 Budget includes the City's contribution to the <br />Little Canada Fire Relief Association as has been reviewed iu recent <br />workshop meetings. <br />There was no one present from the general public wishing to comment on <br />this matter. <br />Upon motion by Blesener, seconded by LaValle, the public hearing was <br />closed. <br />Mr. LaValle introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOL UTION NO. 2004-I Z-305 -APPROVING THE 2005 BUDCrET <br />AND CERTIFI'ING THF' 2005 TAaZEVY Ab" PRESENTED BY CITY <br />STAPFNOTING THE GROSS TAaZEVYAMODNT AT $2,.I3I,AI8 <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Blesener. <br />Ayes (5) LaValle, Blesener, M.outour, Allan, Pahey. <br />Nays (0).
