Pechmann also noted the open issue relative to signage for <br />the north building. <br />Lennander noted that there will be a pylon sign for the north building. <br />Helmeke asked about the circulation drives between the CVS and north <br />building. The Planner noted that these would be shared lanes with cross- <br />easements. <br />Knudsen suggested that if the Commission moves this proposal on, that the <br />City Engineer prepare a report to the Council on internal traffic circulation. <br />Duray also requested that the applicant present the Council with <br />information on the decibel level for the cardboard compactor. He fm•ther <br />noted the City Engineer's recommendation for asix-foot concrete sidewalk <br />along Rice Street. Lennander reported that they would install the sidewalk <br />if they are required to do so. Duray suggested that a sidewalk also be <br />improved along County Road C. <br />Knudsen recommended approval of the Preliminary Plat, Amendment to <br />PUD Permit, and Architectural Review relative to redevelopment of an <br />existing strip mall (Rice At C Center) into a CVS Pharmacy as presented by <br />Velmer Construction Services subject to compliance with the <br />recommendations of the City Planner as outlined in his report dated July 3, <br />2008, with the Planner to clarify recommendation #3 with the applicant, <br />subject to compliance with the recommendations of the City Engineer as <br />outlined in his report dated June 26, 2008, subject to the City Engineer <br />reviewing and commenting on the internal traffic circulation specifically the <br />two-way traffic between Lots 1 and 2 relative to semi deliveries and <br />pharmacy traffic and the narrowing of this space under the current <br />development proposal, subject to the County Road C access point being <br />moved further east separating this access fiom the animal clinic by 40 feet, <br />subject to a 6-foot concrete sidewalk being installed the entire length of the <br />property both along Rice Street and County Road C, subject to the yellow <br />color proposed on the CVS building being changed to taupe, and subject to <br />information on the decibel level for the cardboard compactor, with the <br />possibility that the enclosure will have to be totally enclosed with a roof <br />given the proximity to residential property and with the possibility that the <br />doors will have to be closed when the compactor is being operated. <br />Motion seconded by Duray. <br />Motion carried 6 - 0. <br />-12- <br />
