MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />FEBRUARY 26, 2003 <br />indicated that a retail lighting outlet is closer to the vision the City has for <br />this area. <br />There was no one else present wishing to comment on this matter. <br />Upon motion by Montour, seconded by LaValle, the public hearing was <br />closed. <br />Mr. LaValle introduced the following resolution acrd moved its adoption: <br />RF,.SOI UTION NO. 2003-2-41 -APPROVING THE REZONING OF <br />75 EAST LITTLE CANADA ROAD FROM GENERAL 73USINESS <br />(]3-3) TO PI,ANNF,D UNIT DEVELOPMENT (PUD) AS WELL, AS A <br />PUD PERMIT ALLOWING THE OPERATION OF AN ELECTRICAL <br />CONTRACTING SHOP A %' THIS SITE WITH THE CONDITION <br />THAT THERE IS NO OUTDOOR STORAGE ON 'PHIS PROPERTY <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Anderson. <br />Ayes (5) LaValle, Anderson, Montour, Fahey, Blesener. <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />PUD PERMIT Mayor Fahey opened the public hearing to consider an application for <br />FOR SIGNAGE - a PUD Permit for a Comprehensive Sign 'Plan at the Market Place <br />MARKET PLACE Shopping Center. It was noted that the Planning Commission has <br />SHOPPING recommended approval of the permit as requested. <br />CENTER <br />There was no one present from the general public wishing to canment on <br />this matter. <br />Upon motion by Fahey, seconded by LaValle, the public hearing was <br />closed. <br />The City Administrator described the signage calculations submitted for <br />the various storefronts at the Market Place. He recommended that while <br />the total signage allowed for the space to be occupied by Taste of <br />Scandinavia is 522 square feet, that the signage on the west side of the <br />building be limited to the amount that was in place when S.A. V.E. Foods <br />occupied the space. He noted that Taste of Scandinavia would be allowed <br />signage on the south and west sides of the building. <br />The Administrator further reported that J.R.'s Gym subleases some square <br />footage within their space to another tenant. He recommended that <br />signage provided for the sublease tenant be part of the allocation for J.R.'s <br />Gym. <br />
